1. Why we built it
Most homes hold a drawer of things that still work and will never be used again — and a list of things someone is about to buy new. Those two facts sit next to each other in every neighbourhood, and almost nothing connects them. Selling second-hand is work: pricing, haggling, meeting a stranger for pocket change. Swapping skips the money entirely.
2. How it works
You add what you no longer need, swipe through what is nearby, and when two people both say yes, SwapMatch opens a chat. The rest is a ten-minute meeting in a café. No listings fees, no bidding, no shipping unless you both want it.
3. Who we are
A small team on the Adriatic coast, building for the places we live in first — Kotor, Tivat, Budva, Herceg Novi — where the distance between two people who need each other's things is a short drive. The app is free, and stays free for swapping.
